Jun Takeda,
Director, Japan

Mr. Takeda joins Jay-Young Company as the Managing Director of Japan responsible for leading JYC clients into the emerging Japanese networking market.

Mr. Takeda has over 26 years of experience in the networking and communications industry. Most recently, he was the Country Manager of Tellabs Japan, Inc., where he was instrumental in delivering Broadband and Optical IP based network equipment and products throughout the Japanese market including many of the top service providers and high tech companies.

Prior to Tellabs Japan Inc., Mr. Takeda held various executive management positions, one with Triton Network Systems Japan K.K serving as the President with the primary responsibility of establishing Triton's Japan entity and sell Triton's millimeter wave radio product to carriers in Japan. The other with GTE Internetworking Japan K.K where he served again as President in charge of sales in Asia Pacific including Japanese market.

Mr. Takeda began his illustrious career with NEC Corporation, Tokyo where he spent over 23 years holding various executive management positions. Most recently, Senior Manager, Data Communication Division with the responsibility of new business development, product planning and implementation of NEC's routers/switches including Gigabit class core router development along with assignment to develop large ATM and Frame Relay based system.

Mr. Takeda holds a BS in Computer Science from Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan.
